Busan
- the second largest
city in Korea and the number one trading port. Being
a large international port it connects Asia, Europe
and North America. Busan offers a nice seashore and
interior land sighting.

Taejongdae
Park designated
as a Busan City Monument it represents Busan perfectly
and is especially famous for its rocky beach. The park
has forests of pine trees and over 200 varieties of
trees as well as a beautiful lighthouse.

Busan Aquarium. There
are approximately 250 species and up to 35,000 marine
animals on display. The main tank contains 3 million
litres of water and the animals of the sea can be viewed
through huge acrylic windows or from the 80 metres of
underwater tunnel. There are 40 separate exhibits which
include penguins, otters, piranhas, sea jellies and
a touch tank for a close up "hands on" look
and feel of a variety of sea creatures. |

Unlike most mountain-side temples in Korea Haedong
Yonggungsa Temple is located on the seaside.
This temple was originally built in 1376 and then reconstructed
in 1970 using all the colors that were traditionally
used in the structure. The birth of Buddha celebrated
in April - May (following the lunar calendar) offers
spectacular night time views as the temple area surrounded
with lit lanterns.

Jagalchi Market
is Korea's largest seafood market where you can observe
so many types of fresh seafood. Every year in October
the Jagalchi Fish Festival is held here where you can
take part in a contest and catch some fish in a huge
aquarium with your bare hands.
